NEW YORKJuly 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Saratoga Investment Corp. (the “Company”) (NYSE: SAR) today announced the pricing of its public offering of 1,150,000 shares of common stock. The public offering price was set at $25.00 per share and net proceeds from the offering, after deducting underwriting discounts and estimated offering expenses payable by the Company, are expected to be approximately $27.2 million. The Company has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 172,500 shares of its common stock. The sale of the shares of common stock is expected to close on July 13, 2018, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

The Company intends to use substantially all of the net proceeds of this public offering to make investments in middle-market companies in accordance with its investment objective and strategies and for general corporate purposes. The Company may also use a portion of the net proceeds to reduce its outstanding borrowings.
